Take a meditation break — build an easy daily habit, one short sit at a time

Privacy

The short version: this site collects as close to nothing as we could manage.

No accounts, no personal data. There is nothing to sign up for. Your streak, your chosen session length, and your settings are stored only in your own browser (using localStorage), on your own device. They never leave it, and we cannot see them. If you clear your browser data, they are gone — we could not restore them even if you asked, because we never had them.

No cookies. The site sets no cookies and shows no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Anonymous counts. To learn what is useful — which session lengths people pick, whether sessions get finished — the site counts events anonymously (for example, “someone completed a 7-minute session”). These counts cannot identify you, are not tied to any profile, and do not follow you to other websites.

Offline copy. If you add the site to your home screen, your browser keeps a copy of the app so the timer works without a connection. That copy lives on your device like any other cached page.

Daily reminder (optional). If you tap “Yes, remind me” and allow notifications, your browser creates an anonymous push subscription so we can send one notification a day with that day’s prompt. Delivery runs through OneSignal, a notification service; what it receives is a random subscription id generated by your browser — not your name, email, or phone number, because we never have those. Say no and nothing is created; turn it off any time in your browser or phone’s notification settings and the subscription is gone.

If a future feature ever needs personal information (for example, optional reminders sent to a phone number), it will be strictly opt-in, explained plainly before you give anything, and covered by an updated version of this page — in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.
