Repetition Makes Things Memorable
If you want people to remember something, saying it once is rarely enough. Repeating an important idea helps it stick.
Think about your favorite teacher. They probably didn’t explain a big lesson just one time. They came back to it in different ways, using different examples, until it finally clicked.
The same is true in music. A chorus is repeated because it’s the part listeners are most likely to sing along with. If it only played once, it probably wouldn’t stay in your head.
Repeating something isn’t about being repetitive for the sake of it. It’s about giving an important idea the attention it deserves.
